He Is With You

How are you all feeling?

• I appreciate all of the connections I have made in this discovery of blogging on WordPress.

• I hope you all are doing well.

• Take a moment to reflect on the day.

Think about the good times, so you will have a great memory stored in your head, as we all have to many bad ones in the forefront of our minds.

Think about the things you would change in general, and start changing them for a better tomorrow.

Think about the bad, and instantly remember God’s grace. For he is able to restore all time, redeem all lives, and renew all life circumstances.

Turn the defeat that you’ve felt from the world into the testimony God has given you, for you’ve gotten through those circumstances not just to get through it, but to encourage others.

May God bless you abundantly,

Jesus loves you,

If Jesus can save me,

I know He can save you!

True Joy.

The fact that I made it to another day gives me such joy.
Remember, not everyday is granted to us.
Be grateful in this season of thanks for all that you have, even if you feel like you have absolutely nothing.
Their is so much to be thankful for: whether it’s having those who care about you, being able to walk on your own two feet, to having all of your senses.
These are all things our society seems to take for granted,

I know I have before.

Through all of this, today I hope you do what you truly love.

Be passionate in what you do.

If you do not like where you are, it may be time to change you scenery one step at a time.

A request: Reality and Virtually.

The way we allow others in our lives can simply be compared to as a friend request on social media.
You are either a) private or b) public –
When you’re private you can choose who follows you and who can’t, or you can simply leave the request there.
When your public, it’s a different story. Spam pages, mediocre accounts, and anyone else can come onto page(s).
Our lives can be just like this. You can either choose to be private to protect yourself from unwanted people, vibes, and energy. Or you can be public allowing anyone to view everything and anything that you do, feel, or go.
My point is to treat your life with respect, be careful who enters your safe space, and be cautious of those who you become close to, just as you do on social media because no one wants spam whether virtually or in our own reality. ♡

Me : Adulting and Education.

“Everything happens for a reason” may seem cliche but it’s so true.
I was ready to graduate then go off to school and I ended up becoming very ill. As my senior year was coming to an end, I graduated in a hospital 3 days before my actual graduation. I was told by my doctors that I wouldn’t be able to attend college right away. During that break I realized the college I was set to go to was too far from my family and doctors. Later on that season I came across an ad for a college a lot closer to home and my medical team. I clicked the ad, applied, and got accepted. I went there, CPC, the following semester and became born again in Christ at the campus’s christian ministries.
I joined an amazing play, met phenomenal people, found a new church home, all because I attended this school…
yet I still wasn’t sure if that was where I wanted to be. I took off for the summer term, applied to a new school, got accepted and before I knew it my grandmother was severely ill. As August appeared I kept hearing God tell me to stay at cpc. I kept dismissing this feeling and I didn’t want to hear input, even from God.
Crazy right?
Acouple weeks later I received an email from cpc asking me to come back. Shocked and feeling relieved, I was able to be with my Mom’mom in her final days, and still continue to be with my family in our time of grief.
My point to this lengthy post is that not only does everything happen for a reason, but God doesn’t give you more than you can handle. We are blessed and our mistakes/misfortunes should be received as life lessons and wisdom.
If you’re reading this and ever need someone to talk to about going to school I’m always here, adulting is stressful and confusing but you’ve got this.♡
