Life is like…

Life is like a river,

It will always lead you to new places.

The goal is not to be the Niagara Falls of the world but to flow like a river and allow God to steer the way.

Sometimes.

Life will suck.

I guess it’s a part of the journey.

Keep pushing through, you’ll make it.

Don’t give up on yourself.

Keep working hard.

Even when you feel like life sucks it will get better.

I truly hope it does, for all of us.

My generation

As a 90’s baby who grew up in this fast pace society of technology and social media, we can (I know, I can.) forget about the importance of living. We forget to take a moment, smell the roses, find joy in our surroundings, and embrace who and where we are in life.

I ask you take to make it a mission to never “lose sight of what’s really important” – Princess and the Frog.

I ask you to be yourself, believe in yourself, and love yourself.

I ask you to stop worrying about what other people think, because quite frankly it is none of your business if they like you, or if they do not like you at all.

Never forget to look on the brighter side, as the brighter side is the side that our GOD wants for all us.

OPEN THE BORDERS, LET THEM IN

I try my best to use my platform to speak up for what I believe in.
The fact that human beings are being turned away because they are seeking refuge and a better life is so unsettling to me.
This is supposed to be the “land of the free” so let those who are seeking freedom be a part of this beautiful melting pot of a nation.
I don’t know what’s happening to our society, but I pray we learn to except one another.
The fact that it’s 2018 and the usage of tear gas is still being used on those seeking a better life saddens me to my core.
This is why voting is so important friends.

God moving in you, and others moving out.

We often lose people in our lives,

the ones we least expect.

But GOD has a purpose for ones walking in and out of our lives.

My mother often says to me that “people will have seasons in your life.”

When we hear or feel God say to our spirit to move away from someone and we don’t move because of our flesh, God will properly take them out due to our disobedience.

It is time for you to live for most importantly God and yourself.
