Faith

How faithful is our God?

Faithful enough to forgive us for every sin we have ever committed.

Faithful enough to accept us in to Heaven.

Faithful enough to accept us as children of God!

All Things

We often take this verse for granted. ” I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13 NIV)
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, you see it everywhere, nonstop. Whether it be on bumper stickers, t-shirts, or Instagram captions. However did you ever look into this verse? Paul is writing this because he truly knows God and has faith in Jesus. “I can do all” does not mean I can get that job, or move that mountain, but I CAN overcome ALL obstacles, all sin, all temptation through the will and by the grace of God who gives you strength! God is more than a body builder, an army sergeant, a “dad” who can do all. He is our Father who is oh so willing to love us and give us peace in Jesus name. Take it, Apply it, Use it in your life! You have been GIVEN the STRENGTH of God. You cannot earn this, it is a gift that is given. Take it. Accept it. Apply it to your life in Jesus name, may the Lord of Heavens Armies guide you and lead you all the days of your life for He will never leave you nor forsake you in Jesus name.
Stick with Jesus,
Amen.

Prodigal Son

Amen!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6‭-‬7

During these times we can forget who God is. We forget that life without God would be hard and miserable. We forget that he is in control therefore no weapon formed against us shall prosper. (Isaiah 54:17) It is so easy to turn against God, but it is not easy for God to turn against us. We are his beloved children. No matter how much we do wrong, hurt him, hate him, he still loves us. He never turns away from us, even in the storm. Even when he seems silent, he is still there.

He is our father, we are the prodigal son. This story in the Bible shows us no matter how much we turn from God, our Father, when we go back to him he has wide open arms, showing us compassion. (Luke 15:20)

Before you even feel shame in saying it aloud God is ready to heal your heart. For all you need is a broken and repentant heart (Psalm 51:17) when going to God and he will restore you in all good things, which are in Him.

Thank you Lord for your grace.

In Jesus’s name,

Amen!
