Struggle

My last semester of college, I struggled.

In fact my entire college experience felt like a struggle. Getting a degree is not easy. I felt overwhelmed constantly. I felt as though because I was getting this degree for God everything had to not just be right but perfect. Boy was I wrong! The truth is God does not expect us to be perfect, He desires us to be righteous through His Son, our Lord and Savior, Yeshua. Our Risen Messiah tells us that He came for those who know they are sinners, not those who believe they are already righteous. As a graduate I look back and I realize how the enemy use perfectionism as a tactic to make me miserable. I felt as if I had to take a certain amount of classes because I wasn’t working my junior and senior year, and that I had to get perfect or near perfect grades to impress others because I wasn’t working or living on campus. Woo! Let me tell you, living for others will get you no where. My degree was supposed to be for Christ yet instead of receiving it righteously by enjoying it, I desired to live for others opinions of me, often ones I made up on my own of what they thought, and my own vision, that I forgot about God’s vision for me. God desires me to be of joy, purity, and peace, and when you are living for others you joy is taken and you worry, your purity is taken because you stop living for God and begin living a perfectionist lifestyle that you can’t obtain, and your peace is gone as depression, anxiety, and fear set in because you cannot live up to these false standards you or other flesh had made up. It is not worth it. I am here to tell you to take it to the cross, hang it up, and follow Jesus! The Bible tells us to hang our iniquities at the cross! We are to crucify our past selves and RISE WITH JESUS CHRIST! Rise with the King of all Kings and live in His ones blessed children of God. Accept Jesus by repenting, believing, accepting, and living in Jesus Christ, He had already done the rest.

Only God can judge me

I once heard a rumor about a girl.
It was a video of her going around school. She was talked about for this video. My heart ached for her as I did not know her, nor her name, only heard the terrible, gut wrenching, rude, horrific gossip told of her. This reminds me of the woman caught in adultery. I did not know this girl, as much as I did not know the Woman caught in adultery, but what I do know is that Jesus loves them both, and will forgive them both. In fact He forgave the woman after asking the men who wanted to persecute and stone her “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

I love Jesus. I too have judged, I too have been judged. We have all been this woman, judged. The next time we hear gossip, a rumor, or a lie, let us pray for the one saying it and the one being spoken about. Let’s not also sin by gossiping, but do as Jesus does as love the one who is being talked about and the one doing the talking. I often think about this girl, I do not know her name, however I pray for her and that all her pain heal in Jesus name. Amen.

Let us learn from our mistakes, and remember not to judge others – but to love them, even in adultery, even in sin.

God bless.

1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 11 “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

Repentance

“He helps the poor, does not lend money at interest, and obeys all my regulations and decrees. Such a person will not die because of his father’s sins; he will surely live. But the father will die for his many sins—for being cruel, robbing people, and doing what was clearly wrong among his people. “‘What?’ you ask. ‘Doesn’t the child pay for the parent’s sins?’ No! For if the child does what is just and right and keeps my decrees, that child will surely live. The person who sins is the one who will die. The child will not be punished for the parent’s sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child’s sins. Righteous people will be rewarded for their own righteous behavior, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness. But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die. All their past sins will be forgotten, and they will live because of the righteous things they have done. “Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign Lord . Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live. However, if righteous people turn from their righteous behavior and start doing sinful things and act like other sinners, should they be allowed to live? No, of course not! All their righteous acts will be forgotten, and they will die for their sins. “Yet you say, ‘The Lord isn’t doing what’s right!’ Listen to me, O people of Israel. Am I the one not doing what’s right, or is it you? When righteous people turn from their righteous behavior and start doing sinful things, they will die for it. Yes, they will die because of their sinful deeds. And if wicked people turn from their wickedness, obey the law, and do what is just and right, they will save their lives. They will live because they thought it over and decided to turn from their sins. Such people will not die. And yet the people of Israel keep saying, ‘The Lord isn’t doing what’s right!’ O people of Israel, it is you who are not doing what’s right, not I. “Therefore, I will judge each of you, O people of Israel, according to your actions, says the Sovereign Lord . Repent, and turn from your sins. Don’t let them destroy you! Put all your rebellion behind you, and find yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O people of Israel? I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord . Turn back and live!” (Ezekiel 18:17‭-‬32 NLT)

Rainbow

There is someone out there getting chemo,

Someone out there who just lost their home.

Someone out there who just lost their job.

Someone out there who just lost their child.

Someone out there who just lost their life.

Yet you are here, you are alive. Though you may be going through one or all of these things God sees you as valuable for this season because you are still here. It is not your time yet. Enjoy this season, work for God, trust in the Lord with all your heart and all your soul. He is here for you. God bless.

Prayer to be saved: God I come to you repenting of my sins, asking you for forgiveness. I accept you Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I thank you for dying on the cross for me. Father I ask that your Holy Spirit live in me and fulfill me. May I do your will and turn from my sin into your righteous living. May no condemnation or evil be upon me in Jesus name. I pray this to you God. Amen.

“When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember the eternal covenant between God and every living creature on earth.”” – (Genesis 9:16)

Never Stray

Who is like the Lord? Nobody!
So why do we stray from the Lord to those who are all the same, when we know they will never be the Lord? Searching for good things in this world and in evilness will only lead you to your previous results: regret, failure, and greed!

When you turn to the Lord you will be given: Eternal Love, Eternal Grace, Eternal Life, Eternal Peace, Joy, Forgiveness, Freedom, Purification, Redemption, and so much more!

• Money will never be worth more than the love of God.
• Friendships will never be worth more than the love of God.
• Wild Parties will never be worth more than the love of God.
• Drugs and Alcohol will never be worth more than the love of God.
• Greed will never be worth more than the love of God
• Lust will never be worth more than the love of God.

Turn to God. Jesus is ready to save you.
Repent of your sins and ask for forgiveness. God bless! ♡

Righteous

Dear Lord,
I come before You humbly thanking You for today. May You make my path straight in Your direction, guiding me closer and closer to You. I pray for Your grace to be sufficient for me and for Your blessings to be abundant. Most importantly God I pray to please You with my faith and works, and that I honor You in all that I do. May the blood of Jesus be over my life, protecting me and declaring me righteous in Jesus name. Lord I pray this to You. Amen.
