Sadness shall not overcome you, Jesus is Lord!

It can creep up on you like a junk yard dog,

Barking and growling as if you were it’s enemy.

It attacks you,

Sinks in your life.

Taking your heart and ripping it into a thousand pieces.

As it goes for your brain,

This superhero comes in.

His name:

JESUS – KING OF KINGS – LORD OF LORDS.

THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, OUR LORD AND SAVIOR.

REIGNING IN HEAVEN SITTITH ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD THE FATHER ALMIGHTY MAKER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.

He is the master of your plans.

He knows your name and knows all of your sorrows as he died on the cross for you and me.

He loves you, he cares.

He cared so much that he died on the cross for YOU, wiping your sins away as they drown in the river of waste.

He is the biggest superhero of all.

A master of legend’s as he comes down from heaven to save you from the dark and utter shame that this world wants to put on you.

Sadness has nothing on you,

Because sadness is defeated by JESUS.

In Jesus’ Name,

We rebuke sadness and all fear.

We rebuke all anger and unforgiveness.

We rebuke all wicked and all evil.

Depression & School.

As I sit here with tears strolling down my face I realize my whole depression has been based on school.

Whether that be K-12, or college.

As I’m trying to log into my online college to pay for my semester the bill brought tears to my eyes,

My financial aid isn’t there, and it’s as if that one moment caused me to cripple, taking me three steps backwards.

My blog is real,

and this is my real life.

Tears, heartache, and hurt all exist.

There is know perfect life, because we don’t life in a perfect world,

However we serve a perfect God.

I took 3 steps back, coming out of my happy place just in that one step forgetting that God’s got me.

I was…

Well at the moment I am still angry, confused, and upset.

This is my truth, and I’m living in it.

Life is hard,

But –

It could be worse.

I could have lost my life multiple times due to my own self inflictions but,

GOD allowed me to stay.

So here I am,

Crying.

Hurt.

Annoyed.

Angered.

But –

Hey,

God is good.

He’s great,

and at the end of the day I’m just happy to be hear.

Black Love

Today I saw an older couple, black to be exact.

They were walking through the store together in love, as if they were wed this day.

As we left the store at the same coincidently, they walked to their car

– only 2 parking spaces away from mine.

I smiled as the nice man held his beautiful wife as they walked, giving her a side hug.

They stopped at their car and he kissed her forehead.

I knew that black love was special, but now I know for myself that it’s an honor:

To be black,

to be black in love,

to be in love with someone black,

and to be in love as a black couple.

The love of the Sun ☀️

God gave us today, the day of the sun.

God made the sun to reflect the light of his love.

God gave us his only son to save us from the sins of this world.

God gifted us with sunlight to express his infinite desire to keep us warm and happy.

Take advantage of the sun, the only son, and sunlight.

Trust in our God.

ABBA made you in his image, he birthed you in the spirit and gave you your parents to birth you onto this earth.

Trust in God.

Truly, trust in him.

What is trust you may ask?

Trust is glory in God.

It is masking all of your worries with the presence of God and watching your stress disappear as God has taken the worries of your heart and soul by washing them away with his weeping spirit for this world.

He aches for trust,

Give him the honor he deserves.

Wisdom

God gives us wisdom.

His love in the words he sends us from the mouths of others, testimonies, and writings gives us knowledge in knowing that he cares.

Wisdom from God shows that he is not only our God but our

friend,

parent,

protector,

defender,

confidant,

and loved one.

Take his wisdom, his unsolicited advice, and learn from it.

Trust in his word.

Believe in his teachings.

Pray for his wisdom –

As he is the wisest of the wise,

the greatest of the great,

and the most humble of the humble.

Walk like Jesus,

Act like Jesus,

Talk like Jesus,

Be like Jesus,

As he is the true definition of wisdom and grace.

… Stay Prayed Up …

I’m confused,

And I’m not sure why when I’ve been given the answer to my problems from my FATHER up above.

I am so use to focusing on the negative that I kept forgetting to focus on the positive.

Do you ever feel like that?

The devil is good at blocking out the blessings in our life and entering confusion in our minds.

Do not let Satan win, he is not worthy of your meltdowns and self destruction.

God has a plan for you and me!

He is leading the way, trust in him.

His plan is righteous and redeeming.

He is so powerful, allow him to mold you into the person HE wants you to be.
