The truth about Satan is that he desperately wants you to be with him, so he can grab a hold on you and tear you down with him.
He is lonely, a coward, and he places whispers in your ears wanting you to remember the past and what you have done. He wants you to feel guilty for what God has already forgiven you for, this is condemnation.
Satan wants you so badly for himself to demonize you, tear you from God’s word, and have you for his own wicked plans, that he is willing to tempt you with the things you can’t handle on your own, this is called temptation.
This is what happened to Adam and Eve, do not allow the enemy to tempt you with things, when you feel this way turn to God for he is greater than Satan. Able and willing to provide protection over your mind, body, and spirit. Protecting your soul and guiding you down the path of righeousnness, not sinfulness.
Lastly, Satan will try to use his path that you went upon in your past, against you. He will remind you of all the things you’ve done in sin and temptation once you turn, are trying to turn, want to turn, or are thinking of turning to God. Telling you your not good enough for God’s kingdom and that you should continue sinning because you are already into deep, this is FALSE!
Satan is only doing this because he knows God has righteous plans for you. Plans for you to prosper, to speak the word of God, plans to cast out devils, and to cast out the devil himself. He does not want this because you will have the power of the Holy Spirit inside of you, which is greater than he will ever be.
God loves you so much he gave his Only Begotten Son. Remember that, God, loves you more than you know. He laid down his life for you to have eternal life, Jesus rose from the grave so you could be set free. He ascended into heaven so that the promises of God, through Him, were made true.
Remember these promises:
For you are righteous, redeemed, renewed, and transformed in the renewing of your mind, body, soul, thoughts, ways, past, and Spirit, amongst all other things for the glory of God.
Always remember this for God’s word is true and He will never go back on his word:
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord , “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
